Two nights, six shootings. After relative quiet, gang violence spiked over the weekend in Fresno.
Four people were hurt, including two teenage girls. Three people have been arrested.
The two girls were shot at a park in Southeast Fresno. Police believe an Asian gang is responsible.
Then police say a Halloween party at a hotel near Dakota and Blackstone avenues got out of hand.
Two people were shot. One at the party, the other at a gas station across the street.
Two brothers were arrested in the area. Police are trying to link them to the shootings and booked them for being known gang members in possession of firearms. Both men have since been released due to overcrowding at the jail.
Three more shootings happened at homes in Southeast Fresno between Saturday and Sunday night. One man was hurt, another was taken into custody.
Police say four different gangs were involved in the violence. They're now stepping up patrols to prevent retaliation.
