If you haven't spent a winter in Fresno, you might just call it "Van Ness Boulevard." In December, most locals know it as "Christmas Tree Lane."

Residents in Fresno's Old Fig Garden neighborhood are already showing their holiday cheer. Most homes on Van Ness between Shields and Shaw are letting you know a new year is just around the corner.

Most of the other homes that aren't decorated yet are well underway. Generous donations from people living along "Christmas Tree Lane" are being used to string lights around hundreds of trees.

December 1st and 11th "Christmas Tree Lane" will be closed to vehicle traffic for a few hours in the evening. Residents say all the other days in December, decorations will be on full display.
