What started as a hobby has now become a business for Ken Larrey of Easton. His fascination with raising homing pigeons, or White Rock Doves, has become a service for those wanting to celebrate or commemorate a significant moment in life.
Larrey releases doves at weddings, graduations, even funerals. He breeds and trains the birds. Many can be released miles away from home, and always return. Larrey says the birds are like people. They come home for security, food and to be with their mate.
