(KVEO) It was an unforgettable surprise for 5-year-old Fernando Franco, who suffers from a rare form of Leukemia.
On Wednesday wish was granted to be surrounded by fast cars and one of his favorite singers.
"This is the day that Fernando's wish comes true", Said Ava Sandlin from the Rio Grande Valley Make-A-Wish Foundation.
One of Franco's other passions is music, especially music from a famous norteño band member of Grupo Intocable.
Daniel Sanchez is a former member of the band and was very happy to help make Franco's wish come true by singing to him.
"Our music means a lot to people and it was an amazing opportunity to come out and sing to this amazing...amazing little boy," Sanchez said.
