The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says a male driver intentionally crashed into a PG&E Crew in the intersection of McKinley and Marks.

One worker was pinned between the car and a work truck. He was taken to the hospital. Deputies say he is expected to survive.

Two other workers were also hit, but suffered only minor injuries.

A woman says she witnessed the crash and ran over to the help. That's when she says the driver started attacking her. A hitchhiker who was a passenger car jumped in to save the woman, and started beating the driver with a hatchet.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say he will face charges. They are still trying to determine if the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
