Fresno County Sheriff's detectives are investigating two bodies that were found in the Tarpey Village area near Clovis.

The bodies were found inside a home at the 4100 block of N. Hammel Way. Detectives are treating this case as a homicide investigation.

Investigators say neighbors called 911 at around 3:30 p.m. Monday, after finding the bodies in the home.

A postman contacted neighbors after noticing there hadn't been any activity at the home for several days. Mail had not been taken and a number of newspapers had been left outside.

Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Curtice explained, “Neighbors went through a back door that was unlocked. They discovered 2 bodies both diseased and appeared they have been there for some time. They backed out.”

Fresno County Sheriff's detectives believe the bodies have been there for almost a week. They believe the two bodies are males. Detectives have not yet released their identities.
