(KPNX) An Arizona high school teacher was suspended without pay for the remainder of the fall semester after locking three students in a closet to discipline them, school officials said.
On October 3rd, the Williams High School students told the principal they had been locked in an art room storage closet and police officials were contacted, said Rachel Savage, superintendent of Williams Unified Schools.
Police say the teacher told the students not to go into the closet, the students went it despite the teacher's request and the teacher locked the door.
The students remained locked in the closet for more than 30 minutes.
