Every November, California Oncology in Fresno displays an art show called Art of Life. It features works of art by cancer patients and survivors. The pieces are created with the help of local artists.
Fresno artist Karlene Ryan guided three local women through the creation of their art pieces. Ryan used a poem by E.E. Cummings and her own paintings of trees as the inspiration.
