Chicken Lettuce Wraps
1lb Ground Chicken
1 Red Bell Pepper (Seeded & Diced)
1/2 Small Yellow Onion (Diced)
2tbsp White Vinegar
2tbsp Soy Sauce
1tbsp Sesame Oil
1tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp granulated garlic
1/2 tsp granulated onion
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp cornstarch
salt & pepper to taste
1 Head Ice Berg Lettuce (Washed & Dried)
In a skillet, brown the ground chicken with diced pepper and onion. As the chicken cooks, combine the remainder of ingredients in a separate bowl and mix thoroughly to make your sauce. When the chicken is brown and the onions are translucent add the sauce to the pan. The sauce should coat the meat and as it heats up it should become slightly sticky. Once it reaches this point, remove from the stove and serve in lettuce cups.
