It used to hold 250,000 gallons of water and serve the city of Fresno. Now, 117 years after it was built, the Fresno Water Tower has a new purpose: showcasing the work of local artists.
The volunteer organization Hands On Central California has repurposed the tower as an art gallery and gift shop featuring Fresno area artists.
It is open to the public Monday through Saturday. If you have always wanted to see the tower from the inside, now is your chance.
