My husband is a piper in the Stag & Thistle Pipe band which played at PELCO's 9-11 remembrance this morning. Between the early morning practice and the public ceremony, the huge flag was hoisted between fire trucks. The best shot of it was looking into the sun, but the sun had a surprise for photographers. Notice the cross configuration the rays make shining through the flag!
