UNEMPLOYMENT

I have been looking for a good job since March 2010. Before then I was employed with California Relay Service for the Deaf for 5 years. I left that job to work for Tulare County Sheriff’s Department as an Emergency 911 Dispatcher. They let me go after they decided that I did not meet their “call taking standards”. Since then I have applied at several employment placement agencies. I have also put my application in several organizations.
I went to a job placement in Visalia and they lead me to an interview for a property management position in Visalia. I had the interview and I was nervous during the interview. I felt as though I could have answered some questions with more details and I could have expressed my need to work more. I contacted the employer about 3 times to see if they have filled din the position and sent 2 “Thank you interview letters”. The employer contacted the job placement agency and said that I was harassing them and for me to stop calling. That was the worse feeling of my life. I just really needed a job and I felt that with my experience I would do well in that field.
Since then I have not contacted the job placement agency or the company. Was told by several people, “who would want to work for a organization who would treat you like that anyways?” Even though they are saying these things to make me feel better I still am unemployed with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Human recourse. I just want a break from the economy that I have been effected by.
