Mill Creek in Squaw Valley Rages

If only the pictures could relate the deafening roar of this creek. Mill Creek runs through my property in the foothills of Squaw Valley. I have lived beside it for over seven years and have never seen it this high. The picture above shows me a year ago with my horse in more tranquil times. It is impossible to cross this creek today, as the next picture shows. The creek is about 150' wide today, and rising. It is coming very close to my barn, and I've had to move my horses to higher ground for safe keeping. They too were nervous by the encroaching waves and roar of the water. We have been watching hourly as the water rises.
