Japan fundraiser redcross

my name is Ricky Bautista. I'm a 17 year old senior from Sunnyside High School. In my government class recently we were given a project to create a political party and start a campaign for president. Our task were basic school issues restrooms, lunches, dances, tutorials, ect. My group of 7 decided we would be the Political Cat Party and I run for president. Being the outgoing person I am and with the help of Photoshop I had some fun with my campaign to president and covered a few non school subjects.(pictures included) Then with the help of office depot made 3 ft posters and I thought to myself, to end with a bang all organize a march across campus to my government class. this past Wednesday night I decided I wanted 100 person march across campus and the students to hold a sign with a school improvement they would like to see on campus. I pitched the idea to my music teacher and he offered me the marching band and my march grew. To me it was only and exaggerated effort to win my presidency in my government class until I saw what happen in Japan. I wanted my rally to have a purpose so it is now a Japan fund raising effort. I am starting the bucket at 10$ and students in the march will add to it, All money will be going to the Recross. My fund raiser/march across campus will be Tuesday morning at 7:30 3-15-11. I would love some help, not for me but to raise awareness that people need our help and if we don't act who will. I believe you don't completely have to understand politics to make a stand but just a good heart and a voice to make things happen. thank you for your time
