This recipe is for a layered carrot cake. the middle layer is my original cheesecake recipe. it is topped with traditional cream cheese frosting. this is a family favorite, with a few people vowing to steal the cake and run down the street with it! The cake is moist and can stand on its own, without the cheesecake in the middle.
