I grew up in a small town in Northern California. My mom was a single parent for five years. During those five years, she was unable to come to sporting events, and school events. If it wasn't for us looking like twins, no one in the town would know she was my mother. It's a bond that my mom and I will have forever. Along with looking alike, we are the only ones in the family that are left handed, giving us an even tighter bond. I love her and appreciate her so much.
She currently lives in New Mexico, so it's exciting when she does come out to California to visit. It's a big thing, and I drop everything for her. On the bright side, my mom will be moving out here with me within the next month or so! I am so excited to have her closer.
