Been trying to capture lightning for a long time. The thunderstorm that passed over Hanford late on Sunday, 5th June 2011, provided an oppurtunity to try and get a shot of lightning bolts in the darkening sky.
This picture was taken in Hanford, from my bedroom window. The view is looking towards the North. It took about 82 shots to get this one picture. I pretty pleased with it and can now cross off "capture a picture of lightning" of my to do list.
