I think my son, Joshua, is amazing. He was born at 23 weeks weighing in at a mere 1lb. 6oz. He fought everyday of the 2 months in the NICU to survive. Now, at 10 years old, you would never tell that this is how he made his start. He is full of spirit and laughter, loves his skateboard, and (besides being a little shorter than most kids his age) he is just like every otehr 10 year old boy. He is my miracle and the reason I believe in miracles.

Congratulations! My brother Frank was born at 26 weeks weighing 2lb 1oz. He lost to considerably less than a pound and a half according to his dr and Dr. Merhoff was written up in the American Medical Journal we we told over Frank.
