Jayden Kicking Cancer's Butt!

Jayden White is fighting for her life every day. Jayden was 16 months old when a CT scan showed a tumor in the middle of her brain on September 24, 2010. Three days later she had brain surgery to remove the tumor which turned out to be an malignant posterior fossa ependymoma. She then went through thirty treatments of radiation and two cycles of chemotherapy. When it came time to start her third cycle of chemo they decided to stop because she developed brain damage from treatment. In the matter of a week she went from walking normally to not being able to sit on her own or even hold her head up straight. Jayden lost the ability to control the left side of her body and to talk. It has been about three and a half months since then and she hasn't improved much with her disabilities. Her speech is starting to come back very slowly and she is moving her arms and legs more but she still can't even sit up on her own or hold her head up straight for very long. She is on chemo every two weeks to help reduce the swelling and leaky vessels in her brain. She is fighting hard and strong. Jayden is a very happy little girl and is a blessing to all of her loved ones and friends.
