Our Tommie Rose is truly our miracle, she was born 16 weeks early weighing 1 lb. 6 ozs. and spent nearly three months at Children's Hospital Central California, the staff there is amazing. She has grown so fast and is so bright, we are so very proud of her, she has surpassed our expectations. Tommie is beautiful, fun-loving and so strong. She has some gross motor and sensory issues, does not like loud sounds and is a little clumsy, but does not let that get in her way. She loves to sing, dance and "plays" the guitar and harmomica, and she can't wait to be on American Idol. She has a heart of gold and if she hears anyone raise their voice, she will step right up and ask them to calm down and relax, she is the peacemaker our family therapist. Her father, I and her three older siblings cannot get enough of her, she makes us smile and laugh everyday with her honest comments and crazy antics. We know she is going to be someone amazing when she grows up and look forward to supporting her along her journey. She is our family role model, her strength and determination has taught us all so much.
