Motor Fire Wildfire Approaches El Portal

Since approximately 12:30 PM Thursday I have been videoing and photographing the growing Motor Fire in El Portal, CA near the west entrance to Yosemite National Park. The National Park Service, US Forest Service, CAL Fire and many local fire departments as well as helicopter and fixed wing aerial crews continue to wage a constant battle to protect homes and property in the immediate environs of El Portal. Today residents of Rancheria, a part of El Portal were asked to evacuate.
