Oakland A's Breast Cancer Awareness Game 2011

Striking Out Breast Cancer

This summer we were able to take our kids to an Oakland A's game. This was not just any game, this was the Breast Cancer Awareness Game. My kids, Jolie (3), Jazlynn (8) and Gabriel (13) have been involved in Relay for Life since they were very young. Jolie and Jazlynn were born in October, which is of course National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I was so excited to take them to this game, they paid close attention to the speeches of the survivors and cheered for each and every one of them. I am very proud that my kids know the meaning of helping others and how important it is to be apart of helping to find a cure for Cancer. This was a very touching and unforgettable Summer for our family.
