This a group of 4 girls at Riverview Elementary in Clovis Unified. They have organized an outreach to benefit the homeless and the poverello house. It started with the educational program Destination Imagination. A program which students are challenged to work together to solve a problem. These girls choose to take on helping the homeless. Their goal is to raise $1000 by collecting pocket change, recycling, and having a community yard sale. They are also collecting blankets. On Saturday February 4th they are having their yard sale from 8 am - 12 pm. It will be in the cul de sac at N. garden and E. Deyoung Fresno, 93720. They will also be selling coffee and donuts to raise money. They also have a facebook page under the name GCCW2012. This is a story filled with hope and shows how 4 girls can change the world. Much better focus for Clovis Unified.
