This is a picture of The Madison Elementry Cheerleaders. They went to the Nationals on March 2nd, 2008 In Anaheim, California. They Placed 1st Place.. Yeah! They also Will be honored on Tuesday March 11th, 2008 at Central High P.A.C.(performing arts center) East Campus at 7:00 P.M. for the Board Of Trustees, where they will also be performing. These girls deserve to be recognized for there hard work. They went to the Nationals Last year, where they placed 3rd. Alittle History here, although Fresno Schools have gone to the Nationals, no school in the Central Unified school district has placed in the Nationals, Elementry School level, however this year they took 1st place and broke another record, by taking 1st place,Elementry School Level.These girls like I said earlier worked hard, and showed us all at the Nationals, that it takes hardwork and team work, which they demostrated. I am very proud of what these girls have accomplished and I think the people here in Fresno need to know of this schools accomplishment with the girls.Please say alittle something about these girls on your newscast, they deserve to be recognized.Thank you, A very proud parent of a National Champion!Wendy Madsen
