The Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad will be opening for the season on Saturday March 15th, weather permitting. This will be the railroads 42nd year under ownership of the Stauffer family. Max Stauffer now operates the railroad, book store, museum, gold panning shack and gift shop. Visitors can expect first class treatment at this major attraction just south of Yosemite National Parks Highway 41 entrance.
