God works in mysterious ways! It was justafster Thanksgiving, and I had been looking for, looking at, picking up, and nuzzling kittens in order to find just the right one. I was in a real hurry and on my way to my car outside the Clovis WalMart . . . when what do I see? I nice family giving away the last two kittens from a litter. When I picked up this little striped kitten, she just spoke to me. When I said I'd take her, the woman and her daughters had to kiss this little one goodbye. When I got home, I handed her to my husband, while I raced back to the store to pick up kitten food, bowls, etc. When I returned home, "Mimi" was asleep in my husband's arms - they had bonded in that short time! It took a little longer for our 22 pounds tom cat, Sunny Boy, but they soon became fast friends.
