San Joaquin Gardens Monetary Donation

The Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens donated $455 to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of Central California on Dec. 17. The senior living community donated $5 for each person who attended an open house event for the community’s brand-new memory support center, called The Grove. Nearly 100 guests toured the community. More than 560,000 Californians are projected to have Alzheimer’s by 2020 and the money raised will go towards research and support programs and services. The Grove at The Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens features 24 private rooms dedicated to Alzheimer’s and memory care and is the only memory care service in the area based around person-centered care.
