Out of the darkness of Autism

Dear KSEE24, Four years ago our family was devastated by the news our youngest son has autism. Our lives were turned upside down. Doctors, psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, special education, applied behavioral therapy, biomedical interventions....After all of these services and interventions our son is on the road to recovery!!! Out of the darkness we are starting to see the light!! We have opened our home to an autism parent and family support group as there is nothing in our area. We would like our backyard to be a place these parents and families can see a little hope as we share our stories and support with each other.
