Organizers estimate approximately 500 people attended the 2nd Annual Parkinson's Walk last weekend in Visalia. Coordinator Mary Dickerson, President of the Tulare-Kings based Central Valley Parkinson's Support Group announced that $27,411.95 was raised for distribution to seven national research organizations for Parkinson's.
Nine members of the Greater Fresno Parkinson's Support Group attended including one couple from the mountain community of Oakhurst.
