We have been renting our house for about 10 years and this is how the yard has always looked. We live behind a well known drug infested motel,so our front yard faces the motel Every time my boys ages 1, 6, and 10 play in the front yard I get so nervous that I hardly let them play out there. We have this big back yard that we can't even use. because we are on a fixed income so we cant afford to get it looking the way a back yard should look. I would be so much happier and feel so much safer it my boys could play in our back yard. please help us make this dream come true for my boys and us.

If this is a rental then it sounds likeyour land lord needs to do something about the backyard. It is after all HIS property and the responsibility should not completely fall upon the tenants. Sounds like you need help with your landlord instead.

I would be more concerned with your children living in such a location, rather than the condition of your backyard. Your children's safety should come first. There are many programs available to help with housing needs for those on fixed incomes.
