Service dogs need lawn, trees, etc.

My dogs need more then dirt and weeds. They are not certified service dogs (pup in training) but they alert me (hard of hearing) to the phone, door bell and people in the yard. After I injured my back I have not been able to do much for them in the yard (money is tight), but they deserve a decent yard. I want to show them how much they are appreciated by giving them lawn to play on, trees with shade to lay under and flowers to smell. They love me no matter what, but I would like to show them I love them by providing a yard more then dirt and weeds.

that sounds great but there are children in need more than a dog.
