BACKYARD MAKEOVER CONTEST WINNER! - Newlyweds new backyard needs some love!

My husband and I just got married this past October and desperately wanted a house to call home. We bought our first house a few months ago, but soon realized we were both working 5 days a week and the 2 days we are off of work we are at school from 11am-8pm, leaving us literally no time, or daylight for that matter, to work on the yard. We really want a backyard so that we can truly enjoy our new home during the summer, since it's the only time we are out of school ,and even more, for our dogs! We just love our little babies and the #2 reason we got our house was so that they could have a yard to play in. It's too bad the weeds are so tall and the grass is so dead that we're afraid they'll get bugs on them and in the house from it. It's hard to believe that at 22 and 23 years old we were able to buy a home ALL BY OURSELVES with no help from our parents, but what would make it all worth our hard work would be a "made over" backyard. We work so hard and don't miss a day of work or school to afford this house, but can't afford a yard. I think we would appreciate it more than you know, PLEASE HELP!

i think there were other backyards and stories more deserving than this. This was just a time issue. Other stories involved more hardships. Congrats, but someone else should have won.
