8 Kids,muddy yard,stickers are not fun!

With 8 active kids, we need a yard bad! We moved into our house 4yrs ago when we grew from 4 kids to 8 kids. We knew the yard was in bad shape and there were stickers everywhere. Nothing was alive outside the house except the spiders and lovely weeds. We have spent countless hours outside pulling weed by weed by hand, we have the blisters to prove it! We went outside on hands and knees using broken rakes to dig up the yard so we can plant grass but no luck, we just cant do it with our hands alone. We continue to pull weeds every week so it doesn't get out of control, but our hands can only take so much. We love to play ball outside against each other, but when the ball leaves the court and hits the yard it gets muddy or full of stickers and we can't play anymore. We love to invite friends and family over for bbq's (with 8 kids we seem to always have a b-day) but the kids feel embarrassed because we are confined to the concrete behind the house, no where to run and play. We were given a cool trampoline by a friend, but when it rains the ground gets muddy and it sinks down uneven making it too unsafe for the kids to play on. We don't have the "extra" funds to get the yard landscaped, 8 kids means 8 sports, 8 pairs of shoes, 8 sets of school supplies and so on.... It just seems impossible. We need a miracle or "ksee24" miracles.

Did you read where these kids and family PULL weeds all the time!!! Glad this mom has her kids out working in the yard. Kids can only do so much, I hope this family wins this make over. For this family to take on 4 more kids, give them a new yard!

wih 8 kids they should be able to work i the backyard and give you a nice place. put them to work they could use it
