I have lived in the Valley all my life, I can remember bringing home stray's as a child because I knew they were needing help. My mother always said, I would make great changes in the life of animals when I grew up. I would say I have loved animals forever, being my first dog named Nimrod a sweet golden retriever who just layed back and let me do whatever. Scruffy my second dog lived to be 15 years old and to this day I swear he watches over me. I am a avid animal rights person, and hate to see any animal mistreated. And for that I have come across a non-profit org that has just opened it's doors in Fresno that rescues Pit bull Terrier and Mix's of that breed. Knowing that a pit can and is a very loving loyal pet, I have made it my mission to guide the central valley in the right direction. by pleading with the community to donate to this worthy cause. To many dogs and cats each day get put down due to the over crowded shelters, and Pitt's are usually the ones left behind. So.
