Officials from the USFS, Cal Fire and Mariposa County invited local residents to an Open House of the Telegraph Interagency fre camp at the Mariposa Fairgrounds. Tours will start at 2 pm and last until 4 pm according to Sierra National Forest PIO Sue Exline.
"This will give people an opportunity to see how we assemble, feed and house forces for large fires like the Telegraph incident" said Exline. Those interested in joining one of the tours being given should RSVP at 209-742-7964. Visitors to the Fire Camp will get to see equipment and personnel that have not yet been demobilized to go home or to other fires.
