Larry Covey and his sons came from Montana to fight fire in Mariposa County last week. They brought with them one of the oddest looking pieces of fire fighting equipment on the fire lines. Covey and Sons under the business name Soft Track Attack Inc. not only use these machines to fight fire around the country, they manufacture them. "We were in the logging business until things got really slow. We had some time and equipment but no money" said Larry. "There were fires all over Montana that year and i knew we could help. Larry credits his family, good frends and God for the decision to make the first Soft Track Attack firefighting vehicle. "I had been thinking about an all purpose fire attack vehicle for quite a while. It just took God's voice to get me going." Soft Track now has several Soft Track Attack vehicles in service mostly in the Northwest. "We go to fires and show the agencies what we've got and now they are talking to us about making some for them" concluded Covey. More information on the Soft Track Attack Fire Team is at www.softtrackattack.com.

In the article, we wanted to share we weren't the first to make a Soft Track, but that was our first Soft Track. We support others in this industry and hope people see the value of the service Soft Tracks can provide.
