I am a volunteer fire firghter/Emt in the city of Three Rivers. I also work heavy equipment and was asked to work the northern Ca fires a few months ago this is a picture taken during that incident. I was away from my home and family for over a month, I couldn't even get away long enough to attend my mother-in-laws funeral. My crew and I had to heat water with a blow torch to sponge bathe & we ate brown bag lunches for most of our meals. I wouldnt trade the experience for anything, I am dedicated to helping all famlies in need with my fire, and EMT training.
