Hi, my name is Linda, I'm a single mother of 3. My oldest is doing well on his own now, and my youngest is still living at home. My middle child 21 now is a soldier in the US Army and stationed in Germany. He will be married for a year on August 28th, and is expecting his first baby, which he will not get to see the birth of because he is getting ready to deploy again. I've been wishing on every star that there were a way I could get the money to go visit and be with my daughter in law when the baby is born. When I saw this contest I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me and my children to go visit there brother possibly before he is deployed. Please make this a dream come true by choosing me.

Hey anyone that has a son or daughter in the military deserves a chance at this game show in front of all others. This is a once in a life time shot and not just because your my neighbor that you deserve it but because your a good person.

I just wanted to say I hope your dream comes true. My son is a soldier, it's not your ordinary job. These men sweat during 140 degree summers, and freeze in the snow, just to fight for our freedom. You need to be there for your son! Good Luck
Here is your Deal or No Deal Contestant...She needs to go to Germany to see her son, and her new grand baby, she sounds like a proud mother.
My son's been in Iraq for two years. We owe a debt to all the young people who serve our country, but it sounds like you are trying to capitalize on this to get a free vacation to Germany. Nice place to be right now.
Just a note to the Soldier's dad. I think all she is trying to do is get to Germany to see her first grandchild and her son be fore he leaves on his 2nd tour. It's very expensive if you don't have the money.
I suppose it would be insensitive to suggest getting a second job if you want to travel. That's what I'd do rather than sitting around waiting for someone to pick my name out of a hat. Good luck either way.

I hope you win, for the soldier, just the fact of him seeing his whole family together, while boarding the bus to leave... it just helps him alot It will also be a good chance to meet your grandchild.

one way or another the rest of us will pay for it in some odd way. also the way she comes off in the story sounds way to practiced to be a sob story. sob story people are the worst to take advantage to get something for free.

I feel for you, but what the heck does does your story have anything to do with a this "cutest pet" contest? I can't understand why anyone would vote for you in a "pet contest!" It's not fair to all those cute pets!
