I am the disabilty advocate for the City Of Lindsay At approx. 2:14 this afternoon this police officer parked his car in the handicaped space at the Quick Mart 951 W Hermosa In Lindsay He went into the store about 15 minutes later he came out with a sandwitch in his hand There were no other cars in the lot He did not have his lightbar on and he was not on a call This is not the only time we have cought city workers paked on sidewalks and in handicapped spaces we have pictures too back us up This City has a total direguard for State and Federal laws and for the disabled who live here

This all happens very often, sometimes police officers don't use their turn signals and they dont get punished with traffic tickets like the rest of us do.

I have photos of the CHP doing the same thing in Madera and their commander justified it in a letter to me. I will be sending KSEE the entire story.

cops think they can do what ever they want. because of there work. plus in the morning, i see people parking there cars in handycapped area. and work away just fine. Not that many people can be handy p.s down town police dept. and in that area

There are cross walk up and down by the fresno police, and fresno library. yesterday i saw a cop let a man run by a cross walk and did not do anything. why becasue the men who were crossing where homeless. thats wrong.have ksee watch see forthemselfs

Do the crossing lights-for pedestrians on Hermosa really work?? I am handicapped and when I go across, there are soo many cars who whiz right across the crossing. They don't see a big ole lady in a elect. wheelchair crossing the street!

Is that the shop that is on Hermosa and Elmwood?? There are several shops along Hermosa, that kind of look like the front of this store. Please, help us disabled people, if you can. Email me at Purple_Rosie@msn.com. I would like to talk to someone

Hello again-I think people all over don't really care about each other!! I was in Selma, Visalia, Exeter, and back home, and I was glad to get home. We stopped in Visalia, at one mall, and no one saw me coming, as big as I am? Doesn't anyone care?

Here I go again! Someone parked their car-with a white sheet on the drivers side, going all the way to the back window-for cooling, I guess, and was parked in handicapped section at the Verizon store in a Visalia mall, off of Mooney. Ok, duhh-people

that happend to me also in the 30's back in chy-town this needs to stop.

As someone who is handycapped and needs those spaces I feel that the officer should be punished as any civilian would. A police officer is supposed to be held to a higher standard than the rest of the public.
