On September 21, 2008 Jacob Dodge of Reedley participated in a triathalon in Shaver Lake. It was the sprint triathlon which included a 400 yard swim, 12 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run. Jacob won first in the 19 and under division and 8th over all out of 76 contestants. This is Jacob's first triathlon and only began endurance swimming 1 week ago. Jacob's total time was 1hr and 16 minutes. Congratulations Jacob! Go Team Dodge!!!
