I am writting on behalf of my daughter Taytum Rose Popp. In the last year Taytum has worked very hard. She has spent countless hours volunteering for various organizations, she won Fresno County Youth of the Year and was honored at the Great Fresno Fair, she won a state level pageant and selected to go represent California, she has been working extremely hard on a community service project in partnership with CUSD and CART to implement lunchroom recycling and education on how to reduce and reuse in your lunch practices. She is an A student and a wonderful daughter, friend, & big sister to her two little sisters. She's a lovely child who sings EVERYWHERE she goes, the grocery store, the car, anywhere. She is the ALL AMERICAN GIRL. She wants terribly to go to the National competition in November, however, being a single mother of three I don't have an extra $7000.00 to spend. She has gone business to business asking for support and bless her little heart with this economy has earned very little. We have partnered with Ben and Jerry's for a fundraiser on October 24th from 5:30 - 8pm where the owner has graciously offered to give us 20% of the proceeds. I guess what I am looking for is help getting her to National's. Help spreading the word about the fundraiser at Ben & Jerry's, help with corporate sponsors, or ideas of other things we can do. She is willing to donate time or entertainment. I don't want to break her little heart after all the work she has done. I don't want her spirit to be broken.

I am 10 year old, Taytum Rose Popp.
Life is all about the goals you set for yourself.
My goal everyday is to be the best that I can be in mind, body, and spirit.
My goal for this year is to be crowned 2008/2009 National All American Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Queen.
My goal for the future, is to continue developing this wonderful dream into
being a future leader and maybe I can be an actress on the side.
I represented Fresno/Clovis at the 2008 California State Level Pageant and WON.
I placed first in Queen’s Court among many other trophies, prizes, and ribbons, Even the Spirit Award which was given to the girl who showed the best sportsmanship by encouraging other participants!
I get to continues on to represent California at the 2008/2009 National All American Miss
Pageant held in Disneyland November 21 – 29th.
I have a lot of hard but fun work ahead of me, and I have already started.
In preparation for National’s I have volunteered my time both in my community at
places like the community food bank, park clean up, retirement homes, and the SPCA, but also doing various runway shows and modeling. I have dance class, cheerleading, violin, choir, volleyball, dance, a dress to
find, and what mom say’s is most important FUN-D-RAISING.
