Fire Fighters were called to a House Fire on Thesta and Peralta which turned out to be a Garage fire, as the fire was burning the Power Lines were affected. In listening to the Scanner, I think that PG&E should be immediately dispatched along with the Fire Dept when there is a Occupied Structure Fire. Neighbors more then likely will be without power until the local PG&E staff can restore the power.
PG&E and the City or County should equip a couple of the PG&E trucks with Red and Blue Lights on the vehicles so that when there is a Structure Fire they can respond to the scene also, if they are needed then they will be there, if not then they can return to their duties.
