HAVE YOU SEEN THE CAT HITCHHIKER?

I was wondering if you guys can be of assistance to me and my family. I am missing my 15 year old cat named Whiskas. I've had her since she was born and she went missing October 19, 2008 Sunday morning, possibly Saturday night. She is a domestic short hair, gray mixed with orange, has orange on the left side of her face and a crooked left ear. Several months ago, she fell asleep in the engine of our car and took a ride from our house on Clinton/Valentine to Shaw/Polk. When we stopped the car at my grandparents house, my grandfather said when the car stopped he saw a cat run out. After 2 days of canvassing not only my neighborhood but all of Highway City, we found her under a shed at a house in Highway City. We believe since she is not anywhere in our neighborhood, that it is possible for her to be yet again at Shaw/Polk or some other part of the city. She is quite skinny and rips off her collar, so she does not have her tag and is not micro-chipped.I went to a number of places that day where she could of jumped out and I am having great difficulty seeing as how I have no idea where she could be. She survived once in the engine but had extensive burns of the pads of her paws. So she might be hiding because she is hurt or cornered in a yard by a dog. My cat has arthritis since she is 15 and has already out lived all of my other pets and it would be a tragedy if she could not spend her last years with our family. It is possible she went to the same neighborhood as last time or stayed in the engine for a ride to Stockton. I've put flyers everywhere even door to door, checked hospitals and all animal agencies, and have e-mailed tv stations. Please Help! Even if you think it looks like her please call, please keep Whiskas in mind because I will not stop until she is at home with me where she belongs. She could be anywhere in Fresno and or around Fresno.
