Dustyn at the age of 4 starting collecting coats for the "coats for kids" program. At the age of 6 he was known and the coats for kids amasador for KISS Country's coats for kids drive. At the age of 10 he became the Fresno County Sheriffs Foundation for Public Saftey offical spokes person for thier coats for kids drive. He was the spokes person for the DOCC project. Which stands for Dustyn's Offical Coat Collector. He spent many weekends infront of local stores collecting new and used coats for the children in the valley. His goal this year (2008) was to collect 2502 coats, he came really close , he was able to donate 2077 coats. We want to thank the Clovis Chamber for the wonderful event that they put on last night and for the honor of my son recieving thier "outstanding youth in the community" award. He is already collecting for this year , 2009, coats for kids drive. This honer is such a great motavator to keep up the hard work to help and keep the children in our valley warm during the winter time
