We rescued our dog from a shelter in Shafter about 2 years ago. He was found on the streets of Shafter by Animal Control. He spent months in the shelter waiting for the right family to come along. He has always been sweet, but needed quite a bit of training before turning into the joyful and happy dog that we know today. Ben is a member of our family and we love him dearly, but that has not come without a price. We went through months of training classes and continue to work with him regularly. He enjoys going to the ranch with my husband each day, and I think you'll agree that he is one of the happiest dogs you've ever seen. He is constantly smiling. Just looking at his picture is enough to warm anyone heart and bring a smile to your face.
