SCE keeps local business from opening

SCE has kept a local businessman from opening his business by providing inaccurate information and inept service. By not being able to provide electrical service to the location as they said they would, Edison, in fact cost the owner over $100,000.00 in unneccessary costs & delays, not to mention lost revenue. Officials from SCE apologized for the mistakes, but offered no recourse to the owner, other than filing a claim with the main office which, if there was a settlement, "would get passed on to the customers". "Where can I go. I have no other source for power" says Puckett, "they are a monoply who refuses to answer for their mistakes, and I am the one left holding the bag." "Now I can't open my business, I can't hire employees, I can't raise sales tax revenue. All because SCE can't perform their job. If they were in the private sector, they would go broke." Even asking state politicians for help has resulted in little or no response. "I guess they don't want to ruffle the monoply's feathers". I don't want this to go to trial, I just want them to be fair about their mistakes."
