Another road that I take home some times is down 180 which turns into Kings Canyon, before you get to Minkler, there is a sign that points left to Pine Flat Dam and Avocado Lake. That is Piedra Road... This is a road that I like to take mainly because it is beautiful... Horse Ranches and gorgeous views. Just past Tivy Valley (don't blink) you will see a entrance to Avocado Lake, right across the street you will see this nifty tree.
