KAYLA was born premature, and battled health issues as an infant but today she is completing 5th grade at Century Elementary in Clovis, where she finished all four quarters on the honor roll with perfect attendance. KAYLA won the Fresno County History Day Award for her project on "James Porteous" the inventor of the "Fresno Scrapper".
KAYLA also won the coaches award for softball this year but in watching her games this year she cared more for her team and trying to help the other players do there best.
KAYLA also bridged this year in Girl Scouts from Junior to Cadettes.
On a personal note, KAYLA is not a strait "A" student or perfect but what she has is a heart as big as Texas! She cares for people she does not know, when we go to the Pavarillo House to make a donation she asked me "Daddy can we help too"? Everytime they play the commercial about the abused animals she starts to cry and has to leave the room.
I am so very proud of my daughter and love her with all a daddy's heart can.
