Born four months premature and weighing just 1lb 6oz, Daniel Quinn Scarborough literally fit into his father's hand! Doctors at first did not give him much chance at all for survival but after surviving open heart surgery on his heart when it was the size of a thumbnail, doctors began to see what a remarkable boy he was. Still the odds of Daniel living a happy, healthy, productive life were very slim. Daniel spent 132 days in the neonatal intensive care and underwent 8 more surgeries.
Today Daniel is an amazing, happy, healthy second grader who is preparing for his green belt in Tae Kwon Do. Everyone who knows him loves his wicked sense of humor and his tender heart. Dan the Man is truly an Incredible Kid!
