This is a little story about our son "Rocky"... Who has amazed me & his dad with all that he has been through. He was born Dec 27,2004 & had his 1st open heart surgery on Dec 29,2004. And on January 7, 2005 had stomach surgery, Where they corrected intestinal problems. As 1st time parents we were amazed how strong he was. And 8 months later he had his 2nd Heart surgery. And again stayed strong as can be considering how young he was. And just recently on April 21,2010 he had his 3rd & final surgery. Everything was as good what the doctor's expected, But on April 29,2010 come to find out he had a blood clot. So Dr. MacDonald immediately went into surgery to take it out. And as he was recovering, he was on a No Food, No Liquids Diet. When he finally was able to ask for anything all He wanted was a "Sip of Water" something we all take for granted. But when Rocky was finally discharged, he had a smile on his face that was so priceless, it brought tears to my eyes. If he can stand strong through all this, anyone can do it.
